We aim to collect and use customer information lawfully, transparently, fairly and securely.

1. Information We Collect

• Identity and contact information: name, email address, Sri Lankan mobile number, billing and delivery address.
• Order and delivery information: products, quantities, order value, delivery instructions, recipient details for gift orders, order history and transaction/shipment references.
• Account information: customer-account identifiers, authentication/session information and information needed to provide and secure the account.
• Payment information: payment status, amount and transaction references. Complete card numbers, CVV values or online-banking credentials entered into a payment gateway are processed by the relevant payment provider and are not intentionally stored by Pearlexa.
• Support and warranty information: communications, product serial numbers, fault details, proof of purchase, photographs/video and other information supplied for support, replacement, repair or warranty claims.
• Technical and security information: IP address, browser/device information, cookies, security events, fraud-prevention signals and service logs reasonably required to operate and protect the website.

2. Why We Use Personal Information

Depending on the interaction, we process information because it is necessary to provide the requested product/service or perform an order, comply with legal/accounting/tax obligations, protect our systems and customers, operate legitimate business functions, or because you have made a choice or provided consent where that is required.

• To process orders, verify customer details, calculate applicable VAT/delivery charges, confirm purchases and provide order records.
• To arrange delivery, shipment tracking and delivery communications.

Supported online payments may be processed by PayHere or another payment method made available at checkout. Pearlexa receives the transaction information reasonably required to verify, fulfil, reconcile, support and, where necessary, refund the order.

4. Delivery and Logistics

For Sri Lankan orders, Pearlexa uses Citypak as its principal delivery partner and may use another reliable logistics provider where operationally necessary. We may share the recipient's name, delivery address, contact number, order/shipment reference and other information reasonably necessary to collect, transport, track and deliver the parcel.

5. Service Providers and Other Disclosures

We use trusted commerce/account, hosting, communications/SMS, security, analytics and professional-service providers to operate Pearlexa. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us and subject to applicable contractual, security and legal requirements. Some technology providers may process or store information outside Sri Lanka; where applicable, Pearlexa will use appropriate safeguards required for such processing.

We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, a lawful authority or court, or where reasonably necessary to protect Pearlexa, customers or others from fraud, security threats or unlawful conduct. Pearlexa does not sell customers' personal information.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies for account sessions, cart operation, checkout verification, security and requested site preferences. Optional analytics and performance measurement are disabled by default and are enabled only after you select Accept optional in Pearlexa's cookie notice. If you provide another person's name, telephone number or address for a gift delivery, you should provide only information reasonably required for the delivery and should have a lawful and appropriate reason for giving us that information. Pearlexa uses recipient information for order fulfilment, delivery and related service purposes.

Pearlexa's online store is intended for persons capable of entering into a purchase transaction. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children for online purchasing without appropriate authorization.
